About Us

The LOVE Pet Project (Learning, Outreach and Veterinary Efforts) was started to help animals in need of medical attention while also teaching veterinary students pertinent clinical skills. We have blossomed into an organization that helped over 600 animals in 2020 on their roads to their forever families. Our adoptable animals come from local and out-of-state shelters as well as breeder surrenders. We never purchase any of our adoptable animals. Our primary focus is to make sure all of our adoptable animals are medically and behaviorally ready to enter their new home. 100% of our adoption fees goes to the care of our residents!

Adopt

Are you looking to add a new furry member to your family? We frequently have puppies, adult dogs, cats and kittens looking for their forever families. Please visit our adoptables and coming soon to see if that perfect addition is waiting for you!

Foster

Not quite ready to commit to a new family member but want a visitor? We are always looking for families to help socialize our adult dogs or orphaned puppies or kittens until they are ready for adoption.

Volunteer

Not set up to adopt or foster? No worries! We have several opportunities to volunteer, including event volunteers, animal care volunteers and administrative volunteers. Please reach out if you are interested!
